Annual Town Meeting 10th April St George's Hall 7.00

Town Councillor Report John Byng. " Since being elected to the Town Council on 23rd February 2017, I have become involved with a number of Council initiatives, as follows.

 1.  Together Group: involved in running the twice monthly meetings, and am now on the committee.

 2.  Riverside North Park: I am a member of the Friends of Riverside North Park, attending monthly meetings and playing an active role in taking the Friends forward as a registered charity.

 3.  Flood defences: Have become a volunteer co-ordinator in the event of flooding.

 4.  Events Committee: Have joined the committee, and so far attended one meeting.

Residents of Wribbenhall have contacted me on a variety of issues, and I have endeavoured to help.

The next year will see me becoming more involved with the above initiatives, and I hope to play a role in the restoration of Millennium Green.

Formation of the three Council committees for the coming year will see me willing to participate where required. My background in finance may be useful in respect of the Policy and Resources Committee, but I look forward to the next year helping wherever I can."  John Byng
